YOU Can Make A Real Difference The Alzheimer Society of Grey-Bruce depends on the generosity of the Grey-Bruce community for the financial support necessary to provide information, education, counselling and support services to individuals and families. Less than 45 per cent of our budget comes from government and other outside sources. It is the individuals, familes, organizations and businesses who understand and appreciate the need for the services we provide who make sure those services are available when they are needed. YOUR financial support is essential. Donations come in many forms. Individuals, businesses and organizations often make one major donation a year, sometimes in response to our annual mail campaign, or because they have made the Alzheimer Society a part of their planned annual charitable giving. You can make a donation to the Alzheimer Society in any amount, at any time of the year. Some people are finding it easier to fit their gifts into their budgets by dividing their donations into monthly contributions and providing either post-dated cheques or pre-authorized credit card transactions. We accept Visa and MasterCard. All donations are tax deductible. Many people find memorial donations to be a particularly fitting way to honour the passing of a relative or friend. Memorial donations can be made through the funeral home or directly to The Alzheimer Society of Grey-Bruce. We will send a card to the family informing them that a memorial donation has been made by you in memory of their loved one. What do you get for someone who has everything? Donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Grey-Bruce in the name of an individual you want to honour on a birthday, at Christmas, or at any other gift-giving time. Bequests or other Planned Gifts such as insurance policies or trusts, are another way individuals contribute to the Alzheimer Society. You may wish to make a provision in your will to remember The Alzheimer Society of Grey-Bruce.
