Each Spring volunteers for the Alzheimer Society of Grey-Bruce take part in Tag Days in communities across Grey-Bruce. You will see our volunteers outside malls and businesses, offering information on Alzheimer's disease and accepting donations for the Society.
Communities that are involved are as follows: Dundalk, Meaford, Owen Sound, Wiarton, Walkerton, Chesley, Durham, Markdale, Port Elgin, Southampton, Sauble Beach, Thornbury and Hanover.
In addition to "tags" our volunteers hand out Seeds of Hope, packets of Forget-Me-Not seeds, to passers-by. Forget-Me-Nots are the flower of the Alzheimer Society, they serve as a reminder of all those affected by the disease.
Dates for tag days vary by community but will take place in May and June 2008. Exact dates for each area to be confirmed. Your contribution is used to provide education and support services across Grey-Bruce.
If you would like to participate as a Tag Day volunteer in your community please call the Alzheimer Society of Grey-Bruce at:
